Flow has donated $20,000 to the National Centre for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), with the contribution generated through an initiative that linked sixes scored by the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) during the 2026 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) to community support.
The cheque was presented on Thursday, October 8th, at Flow’s Trincity head office by the company’s newly appointed Vice President for Trinidad and Tobago, Jason Julien, to NCPD chief executive officer Ricardo Rampaul.
Under the “Every Six Gives Back” initiative, Flow pledged TT$200 for every six scored by TKR during the tournament, with the funds going towards the work of the NCPD.
The initiative formed part of Flow’s CPL sponsorship, with participating markets developing their own programmes to support causes in education, sport, health and community development.
Inge Smidts, chief executive officer of Liberty Caribbean, which operates Flow, BTC and Liberty Business, said the initiative demonstrated how sporting partnerships could have an impact beyond the game.
“CPL brought people together through a sport that is deeply woven into the fabric of Caribbean life. Whether we are supporting education, young athletes, healthcare or inclusion, these initiatives demonstrated that the impact of our partnerships can extend well beyond the boundary,” Smidts said.
She added that the programme transformed moments of celebration during the tournament into opportunities to support young people, families and organisations working in communities across the region.
The initiative was implemented across five markets, with each market directing its contribution towards a locally selected cause.
