Jack Warner has reportedly claimed he was the second Fifa voter for England's 2018 World Cup bid. The UK Sunday Mirror says Warner has told his closest associates that he voted for England in the 2018 World Cup ballot. Six members of the Fifa executive pledged their support. Only one of them, plus England delegate Geoff Thompson, actually delivered the goods.
Warner has been cited as a traitor to the England cause, but soon after Thursday's vote he told a close friend: "Everything England did was brilliant. Their presentation was great, the tribalfootball.com site stated. "I voted for them in that opening round. Geoff Thompson is a good friend. I honoured my promise until England went out."
