Fri­day, May 31 is of­fi­cial­ly be­ing recog­nised as a pub­lic hol­i­day.

In a me­dia re­lease this morn­ing the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter, Com­mu­ni­ca­tions said, in ac­cor­dance with the pro­vi­sions of Sec­tion 3 (2) of the Pub­lic Hol­i­days and Fes­ti­vals Act, Chap­ter 19:05, the pub­lic is here­by no­ti­fied that Fri­day, May 31, 2024, will be rec­og­nized as a pub­lic hol­i­day in Trinidad and To­ba­go.

This is due to the cel­e­bra­tion of both Cor­pus Christi and In­di­an Ar­rival Day pub­lic hol­i­days on Thurs­day, May 30, 2024.
