The Galleons Passage left Trinidad with almost a full load earlier today and took its average four hours to get to Tobago.
Some 315 of the available 400 seats were filled while over 30 vehicles were transported to the sister island during this morning’s sailing.
The vessel left the Port of Port-of-Spain at 6 am and arrived around 10.10 in the waters off the Port of Scarborough.
Passengers were accommodated in two separate areas of the boat on the starboard and port side for the journey. However, passengers were not allowed on the top deck or outside during the sailing because of safety reasons. On the upside, the ride was not as rough as anticipated.
