The Laven­tille Pride Foun­da­tion re­cent­ly held its first fundrais­ing event aimed at the en­hance­ment and ad­vance­ment of res­i­dents of Laven­tille and en­vi­rons in sport and ed­u­ca­tion. The brunch was held at the House of An­gos­tu­ra, East­ern Main Road in Laven­tille.

A re­lease said the funds raised from that event would con­tribute to­wards the foun­da­tion ac­com­plish­ing the goals set to as­sist the res­i­dents of Laven­tille and en­vi­rons.�

The re­lease said the foun­da­tion recog­nised the work be­ing done by oth­er NGOs in de­vel­op­ing the in­di­vid­ual and fam­i­ly in com­mu­ni­ties and has set its pri­ma­ry tasks on sup­port­ing and build­ing from this frame­work through ef­forts at the re­gion­al lev­el from events which would en­hance co­he­sion and com­mu­ni­ty team spir­it.
