De­stra Gar­cia–so­ca artiste, mum­my-to-be–wants her first child to be a boy, but has said, "what­ev­er the Fa­ther gives me, I will be hap­py." Speak­ing with the Sun­day Guardian, Gar­cia who plans to per­form while preg­nant, said she still has not de­cid­ed where or how she will have the ba­by.

"I'm still weigh­ing my op­tions," she said. Gar­cia is due to give birth next Jan­u­ary. Gar­cia said, "My per­for­mances are still en­er­getic but I am not jump­ing as high. I am still fit and healthy but I am slow­ing down grad­u­al­ly. I have to make a men­tal note that I have a per­son in there."

Gar­cia said she would con­tin­ue ex­er­cis­ing so that her ba­by will be born healthy. She said when choos­ing a name for her ba­by, she wants to en­sure her child has a unique name just as her par­ents gave her an un­usu­al one. "Every­body says when I give birth, I will not want to leave my child."
