A mid-morning shooting in Maraval yesterday claimed the life of a 23-year-old artisan. The victim was identified as Dwayne Pilgrim, of Faustin Trace, Morne Coco Road, Maraval.

A La Brea man accused of raping a 10-year-old girl more than two decades ago was freed yesterday. Alvin Seetaram, 38, of Vessigny Village, was found not guilty after a jury deliberated for less than two hours at the San Fernando Third Assizes.
