Ch­agua­nas West MP Jack Warn­er has ex­tend­ed con­grat­u­la­tions to the Trinidad and To­ba­go crick­et team for its suc­cess­es in the IPL Cham­pi­ons League Twen­ty/20 tour­na­ment in In­dia.

In a let­ter to the T&T Crick­et Board (TTCB) yes­ter­day, Warn­er said team cap­tain Daren Gan­ga had "re­mind­ed us of the true virtues of sports­man­ship; that we must al­ways strive for ex­cel­lence, giv­ing every­thing we have and al­ways putting our best foot for­ward. "The re­sult was a near-un­beat­en streak, char­ac­terised by con­fi­dence, or­gan­i­sa­tion and skill that has lift­ed the spir­it and hopes of crick­et fans through­out the Caribbean re­gion," he said.
