A total of 21 employees of the Amalgamated Security Services will take part in the seventh annual King and Queen competition. The contestants promised to shine in three categories–Mr Amalgamated, Ms Amalgamated and Ms Big and Beautiful tomorrow at the CLR James Auditorium in Valsayn.
The show will be hosted by the Amalgamated Sport and Cultural Club, an arm of the security company. Co-ordinator of the competition Marlene Joseph said the show was a kind gesture to the employees. Joesph said: "The show is geared towards employee satisfaction, engendering camaraderie and social interaction. It also helps to promote a healthy lifestyle among the different levels of the employees in the organisation." Winners are expected to receive $3,000 for Mr and Ms Amalgamated and $2,500 for Ms Big and Beautiful. Other prizes included challenge trophies, tickets for two in each category to Tobago and hampers.
The show is expected to begin at 4 pm. Vying for Mr Amalgamated are Cisco John, Darrell Archie, David Raymond, Reynold Hospedales and Shewyn O'Conner. Ms Amalgamated are Annastacia Lewis, Ifayola Proverbs, Deneike Orr, Ornella Huggins, Natasha Jordan, Janice Thomas, Jenelle Thomas and Jordine Calliste. Ms Big and Beautiful entrants are Wendy Cooper, Onika Harvey, Mala Rampersad, Ayana Auguste and Louise Clarence.
