In­drani Mootoo, wife of for­mer San Fer­nan­do may­or, Ro­mesh Mootoo, has died. Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, Mootoo, who was ail­ing for some time, suf­fered a mas­sive heart at­tack on Tues­day evening at her Bel Air, La Ro­maine home. Mootoo shot to the spot­light in 1988 when her hus­band be­came the first may­or of San Fer­nan­do af­ter it at­tained city sta­tus. Fu­ner­al arrange­ments have not been fi­nalised.
