The family of Sheldon Sukhdeo, who was abducted over the weekend, has been given proof he is alive and well.
Sheldon, the brother of murdered gangster and car dealer Sheron Sukhdeo, reportedly spoke with family members via telephone for roughly four minutes just after midnight Wednesday, assuring them he was alive.
Police sources said relatives told them that during the conversation they heard someone in the background prompting Sheldon about what to and keeping tabs on the length of time spent on the phone.
Reports are that at about 4.10 on Sunday morning, Sukhdeo was driving his white BMX X-5 vehicle in a northerly direction along the
Solomon Hochoy Highway, when upon reaching near the Gasparillo overpass his vehicle was stopped by a black SUV.
The SUV appeared to have blue flashing lights similar to that of a police vehicle. An armed man came out the SUV and ordered the
Sukhdeo out of his vehicle and into the other car. Sukhdeo had not been seen or heard from until since making contact wiht his family by phone.
