Two months after being shot during a violent exchange with police, Kevon Richardson was found dead near his Princes Town home this morning.
According to reports, Princes Town police received a report of gunshots being heard along Ayres Avenue around 10.30 pm last night and officers responded to the area, made a search but found no gunman. Around 6.30 am today, however, a villager found Richardson’s body in a track just 100 metres from his home. He had a gunshot wound to his head.
Investigators learned that Richardson, who was believed to have suffered from a mental illness, had made a video accusing a businessman of selling drugs. A video on social media also suggests that he had links to Fyzabad businessman Kedar Ali-Mark, who was gunned down outside Anand Low-Price Supermarket, South Oropouche nine days ago.
