Kite flying enthusiasts got their fill during the 20th annual Easter Kite Flying Contest at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain, on Glorious Saturday (April 20).
When all was said and done, Penny Mahase took the “Most Innovative Kite” title ahead of Khemraj Khemraj and Tobagonian Clinton Bobb.
The Best Cheekie Chong prize was taken by Sanjeev Singh, with second place going to Rovey Joseph and third to Nathaniel De Bressette.
The Best Box Kite was won by Suresh Manthony, Jason Juanette won the Best Madbull title and Nigel Hosein won the Best 90.5FM Kite.
The event, which was hosted by TSTT and Radio 90.5FM, is usually held on Easter Sunday but the organisers decided to hold in on Saturday (April 20) as they are celebrating 20 years this year.
