I won­der if even the ven­er­a­ble Dr Er­ic Williams knew how pre­scient he was when he pro­nounced that the fu­ture of our na­tion was in the book­bags of our chil­dren.

Giv­en that these very book­bags now have to be screened for guns and knives, and a mur­der toll av­er­ag­ing around 500 for the last three years, he has proven what a great prophet he was even though it was not in the way he in­tend­ed.
