Lost Tribe and K2K Al­liance & Part­ners have ex­tend­ed their dom­i­nant Car­ni­val 2026 run by cap­tur­ing the top Port-of-Spain Down­town Car­ni­val Com­mit­tee ti­tles in the Large and Medi­um Band cat­e­gories.

Fol­low­ing on their suc­cess in the Na­tion­al Car­ni­val Com­mis­sion com­pe­ti­tion on Wednes­day, Lost Tribe was yes­ter­day named the Large Band of the Year win­ner for their por­tray­al of Is­land Cir­cus. They beat out RC Mas Band’s The Web We Weave and Trinidad All Stars Steel Or­ches­tra’s Sailors Ashore In Japan.

K2K Al­liance & Part­ners topped the Medi­um Band cat­e­go­ry with Pollen Hous­es, fol­lowed by Ki­net­ic Mas’ You The Mas­ter­piece and Im­age Na­tion’s Kaiso Kaiso

In the Small Band cat­e­go­ry, Trib­al Con­nec­tion Cul­tur­al Pro­mo­tions claimed first place with Thank You For The Years of More Mas Than Ar­se, with The Orig­i­nal Jab Jab sec­ond and Vibez Mas third

Ze­bapique Pro­duc­tions claimed the Large Open Ju­nior ti­tle with an im­pres­sive 455 points, their youth­ful ex­u­ber­ance a mir­ror of the se­nior bands. Spoilt Rot­ten Kids took home the Medi­um Open, while Vanes­sa and Friends tri­umphed in the Small Open. And in the Mi­ni Open, So­phies Win­dow de­light­ed all.

In the Road March race, Machel Mon­tano’s En­core led with 24 plays, ahead of Bun­ji Gar­lin’s Still A Road Man and Voice’s Cyah Be­have, both on 21.
