Critical pipeline interconnection works along the transmission pipeline system for the Malgretoute Booster Station will be carried out tomorrow, Friday 2nd September 2022, between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 pm.
An advisory from the Water and Sewerage Authority is alerting its customers in parts of South-West Trinidad, served by the Malgretoute Booster Station, that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Friday, because of the major works.
However, WASA is assuring its customers that a limited truck-borne service will be available upon request.
Areas to be affected include:
Picton, Esperance, Golconda, Wellington Road, Barrackpore-New Colonial, Rochard Douglas, Khanhai South and North, Jones Village, Nanan Trace, Congo Hill, Tin Pan Alley, Lower Rock Road, Rochard Road and side streets, parts of Clarke Road, Mulchan Trace, Bunsee Trace, Crawford Branch Trace, Halliday Trace, Quarry Road Morne Diablo, Mon Stewart, Cleghorn, Borde Narve, Carat Hill, Monkey Town and environs, Retrench, Ben Lomond, Harmony Hall, Corinth, Reform, St. Charles, Ste. Madeline, Petite Morne, Tarodale, Palmyra, Orchid Garden, Pleasantville, Friendship, St John, Bronte, and Papourie Road (Upper and Lower).
WASA is reminding its customers that following the completion of these works, it may take up to 48 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
