Au­thor­i­ties have iden­ti­fied the man found dead in his ve­hi­cle at the Pi­ar­co In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port car park on Fri­day.

He was iden­ti­fied as Carlysle Gilbert.

Pre­lim­i­nary re­ports in­di­cate that Gilbert, who ap­peared to be in good health, may have suf­fered a fa­tal heart at­tack while parked at the fa­cil­i­ty.

The dis­cov­ery has sent shock­waves through his cir­cle of friends and fam­i­ly, who are left grap­pling with the sud­den and un­ex­pect­ed loss. Gilbert was de­scribed as a kind and well-loved in­di­vid­ual, and his pass­ing has prompt­ed an out­pour­ing of grief and trib­utes from those who knew him.

An in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing, though no foul play is sus­pect­ed at this time, ac­cord­ing to in­ves­ti­gat­ing po­lice of­fi­cers.
