A 23-year-old man of Pe­tit Val­ley man was killed when he went to vis­it his five-month-old son at Wa­ter­wheel in Diego Mar­tin on Tues­day.

Po­lice said at about 5.45 pm Isa­iah Prince, of Pi­o­neer Dri­ve, was at his girl­friend’s home when gun­fire was heard and he was found on the ground in the yard with mul­ti­ple gun­shot wounds. He was tak­en to the St James Hos­pi­tal where he was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival.

At his home yes­ter­day, Prince’s grand­moth­er was in­con­solable and had to be com­fort­ed by fam­i­ly mem­bers who said they were too dis­traught to speak.

Crime scene in­ves­ti­gaors re­cov­ered 22 spent shells at the scene. (RD)
