The murder count increased yesterday following the killing of a San Juan man just after lunch.
Police said residents of Maitagual, Laventille Road, San Juan, reported hearing gunshots around 1 pm.
Upon checking, they found the bullet-riddled body of Christian “Barney” Short, 23.
He lived at Upper Bushe Street, Maitagual.
Police are yet to reveal a motive for Short’s murder. —ALP
