A 22-year-old Chase Vil­lage man has been found mur­dered in Carlsen Field on what was sup­posed to be his first day at work as a se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cer.

The body of Ri­car­do Mar­cus Vin­cent of Bagna Trace, Chase Vil­lage was dis­cov­ered ly­ing face down around 6 am Thurs­day on Xeres Road, Carlsen Field.

The body bored sev­er­al gun­shot wounds and po­lice found five spent .40 cal­i­bre shells on the ground.

Vin­cent had re­cent­ly been em­ployed with of Heller Se­cu­ri­ty Lim­it­ed.

Po­lice said he left home around 5.25 am to go to work at Price Plaza, Ch­agua­nas.

He left on foot to catch a taxi.

Po­lice are yet to es­tab­lish a mo­tive for the man's mur­der.
