A 60-year-old man was shot on Wednesday outside his home in Endeavour, Chaguanas.
Police say around 5.45 pm, the victim was driving into the yard of his home in his silver Nissan X-Trail when a black car drove up on him and stopped.
A gunman emerged out of the black car and opened fire on the victim and another relative. The gunman then re-entered the car which sped off.
The victim who was shot in the upper arm and forearm drove himself to a nearby business place at Egypt Trace, where he was assisted and taken to the Chaguanas District Health Facility, where he was treated and transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
The scene was processed by officers of the Central Division where four 40 mm spent shells were recovered.
