The man seen hop­ping from ve­hi­cle to ve­hi­cle this week has been ar­rest­ed.

Po­lice said he is a sus­pect in a house­break­ing in­ci­dent where he al­leged­ly stole noth­ing but is ac­cused of cook­ing him­self a meal. They added that he is men­tal­ly ill and has a his­to­ry of drug abuse.

In two videos shared on so­cial me­dia on Wednes­day, the man is seen jump­ing from a truck on­to a maxi-taxi and then on­to a parked car as he at­tempt­ed to es­cape from men chas­ing him. Those men are re­port­ed­ly af­fil­i­at­ed with the own­er of the house he broke in­to.

The in­ci­dents all took place in the Point Cumana area.

In an­oth­er video, the man is seen with his hands tied while in po­lice cus­tody.
