A Trinidad man who was reported missing for almost a week was found dead in his Tobago apartment yesterday by his co-worker.
Police said the body of Ray Dalrymple, originally from south Trinidad, was discovered in a partially decomposed state at his Sandy Hill, Lambeau apartment.
Around 1.05 pm, a co-worker went to the Shirvan Road Police Station and reported that he had not seen Dalrymple for six days. Earlier that day, he visited Dalrymple’s home, but after finding the door locked and noticing a swarm of flies at the bedroom window, he raised an alarm.
A nearby construction worker broke open the door, and police officers responded. Inside, they found Dalrymple lying on his back on a mattress.
The landlord told police the last time he saw Dalrymple alive was on Friday, August 22.
Investigations are continuing.
