A Trinidad man who was re­port­ed miss­ing for al­most a week was found dead in his To­ba­go apart­ment yes­ter­day by his co-work­er.

Po­lice said the body of Ray Dal­rym­ple, orig­i­nal­ly from south Trinidad, was dis­cov­ered in a par­tial­ly de­com­posed state at his Sandy Hill, Lam­beau apart­ment.

Around 1.05 pm, a co-work­er went to the Shir­van Road Po­lice Sta­tion and re­port­ed that he had not seen Dal­rym­ple for six days. Ear­li­er that day, he vis­it­ed Dal­rym­ple’s home, but af­ter find­ing the door locked and notic­ing a swarm of flies at the bed­room win­dow, he raised an alarm.

A near­by con­struc­tion work­er broke open the door, and po­lice of­fi­cers re­spond­ed. In­side, they found Dal­rym­ple ly­ing on his back on a mat­tress.

The land­lord told po­lice the last time he saw Dal­rym­ple alive was on Fri­day, Au­gust 22.
