A San Fernando nurse who is said to be in home quarantine because of COVID-19, is reportedly under police guard as well, in connection with the disappearance of Princes Town mother, Kadijah Flament.

Investigators are continuing their search for Flament but so far, have turned up empty-handed.

Guardian Media understands the suspect reportedly confessed to killing the 24-year-old mother of one and getting rid of the body in the cane fields of Ste Madeleine.

Investigators say one of the problems they are encountering in their search for the missing woman is the suspect’s inability to physically assist them with the recovery of the body, as she is COVID-19 positive and under quarantine.

Kadijah Flament, 24, of Lothian's Road in Princes Town, is said to have had an argument with her boyfriend on June 7th and left their home to visit her eight-year-old child, who lived with a friend at Olera Heights in San Fernando. However, her boyfriend reported to relatives that she did not return and calls to her phone went unanswered.

On Thursday June 10th, Flament’s aunt reported her missing.

Investigators have since detained and questioned the suspect.  They also searched her apartment in Olera Heights on Saturday afternoon, and took away several items.

The Police Service is asking that anyone with information that can help find Flament to call the Princes Town Police Station at 655-2231 or any police station; or call the police hotlines at 555, 999, 911; or call 800-TIPS; or share information via the TTPS app.
