In what seems to be a fortunate twist in the case of missing secondary school teacher, Astar Bishop has been sighted and up to press time his relatives were attempting to “get a hold of him.”
Bishop, 38, was reported missing after his Nissan Wingroad wagon was found abandoned along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway on Thursday night.
Bishop, an art and music teacher, was last seen leaving his family’s home in Belmont at about noon Thursday.
Since then he was not seen or heard from by his relatives.
His mother, Boni Bishop, said she became worried when he did not return home.
However, speaking with Guardian Media on Friday afternoon, a relieved sounding Boni said: “My son has been sighted along the Eastern Main Road and we are trying to get to him...no violence has occurred and he’s not injured.”
She did not say any more on the matter. (RDR)
