?Two of the labour movement's most powerful bodies have settled their differences and united with the Public Services Association (PSA) to fight the Government's proposed establishment of the Inland Revenue Authority and preserve job security for the working class. A movement that is threatening a national shut down should the Government resist their calls. The once estranged National Trade Union Centre (Natuc) and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions (Fitun) had pledged their commitment to PSA President Watson Duke's mobilisation of the labour movement to end contract employment. Fitun and Natuc along with 20 other unions pledged their solidarity to the PSA's fight on Wednesday at meeting held by Duke at the PSA headquarters, Abercromby Street, Port-of-Spain.
