Nine sheep have been re­cov­ered dur­ing a po­lice op­er­a­tion in Ma­son Hall, To­ba­go.

Of­fi­cers found the an­i­mals in a bushy area along Les Coteaux Road, in con­nec­tion with re­ports of live­stock theft in the Rox­bor­ough Po­lice Dis­trict.

The re­cov­ery came dur­ing a se­ries of po­lice ex­er­cis­es across the Scar­bor­ough dis­trict on Thurs­day, which al­so re­sult­ed in sev­en ar­rests.

In Friends­field, of­fi­cers raid­ed an apart­ment build­ing near the Claude Noel High­way and seized 7.08 kilo­grammes of mar­i­jua­na. Two sus­pects were ar­rest­ed.

At An­drews Trace, Rock­ley Vale, po­lice seized an ex­tend­ed mag­a­zine and de­tained two peo­ple.

At Bagatelle Court, Morne Quit­ton, of­fi­cers found cannabis be­ing cul­ti­vat­ed un­der ul­tra­vi­o­let lights in­side a house. They al­so seized about 113 grammes of un­dried cannabis and ar­rest­ed one per­son.

At Sang­sters Hill, Scar­bor­ough, po­lice found 228.5 grammes of cannabis dur­ing an an­ti-crime op­er­a­tion.
