A 27-year-old female driver was not charged up to late yesterday evening after police constable Reynold Dopson was killed and his colleague injured on Sunday while carrying out traffic duty. Policewoman Wendy Timothy, of Cashew Gardens, Chaguanas, remained warded up to late yesterday evening at the San Fernando General Hospital.
Dopson and Timothy were performing duties along the Solomon Hochoy Highway, Freeport, when they were struck by a Lexus motorcar driven by a woman. Dopson died on the spot while Timothy sustained several broken bones.
