There is still no clear date for the commencement of the commission of enquiry into the Paria diving accident that claimed the lives of four men.
Responding to questions in parliament today, acting Prime Minister Colm Imbert said the two members of the commission will determine when the enquiry will get off the ground.
Last month, Justice Cecil Dennis Morrisson QC, was announced by government as the chairman of the commission.
The commission replaced an independent five member committee tasked with looking into the tragedy.
The acting prime minister noted that the two commissioners will be presented with their instruments of appointment in two days. Imbert also confirmed that the terms of reference for the enquiry have been settled.
On February 25th, five divers became trapped in a pipeline owned by Paria Trading Co. at Pointe a Pierre. Four men, Rishi Nagassar, Yusuf henry, Kazim Ali jr, and Fyzal Kurban died in the incident.
