There is no mad rush for toilet paper and other supplies in Tobago. Guardian Media visited supermarkets and spoke with Tobagonians on Saturday Morning.
Shoppers at Coss Cutters Grocery at Plymouth Road, Scarborough, said they were purchasing regular items and in the usual quantity.
Staff at the grocery said items such as hand sanitiser and rubbing alcohol were out of stock but are expected to be replenished this week.
Meanwhile, some people resorted to using makeshift masks with tissue paper and rubber bands.
Rev Fitzhubert Phillips, from the Baptist organisation, who was at the grocery, said he was there to purchase black pepper and other powdered seasoning.
He said his organisation plans a function for Scarborough on Sunday that would commence with a walk from Tamarind Square to the Fairfield Complex, Scarborough, where a cultural programme would be held.
Phillips said attendees would be practising all precautionary measures as outlined by the Ministry of Health and noted that people of all faith are invited to attend.
