Noel Gar­cia has been ap­point­ed as Chair­man of the Hous­ing De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion (HDC)

Mr Gar­cia re­ceived his In­stru­ment of Ap­point­ment as Chair­man from Min­is­ter of Hous­ing and Ur­ban De­vel­op­ment, Ma­jor Gen­er­al (Ret’d) Ed­mund Dil­lon, last Fri­day 10 Jan­u­ary, 2020.

Oth­er mem­bers of the Board in­clude: Mr. Kurt Win­ston Sa­landy, Mr. Ke­ston Mc­Quilkin, Dr. Jef­frey Reyes and Mrs. Saira Sam­lal-Ram­lo­gan.

An of­fi­cial state­ment from the Hous­ing Min­istry states that the HDC Board “is tasked with treat­ing all mat­ters be­fore it in a re­spon­si­ble and ju­di­cious man­ner.

Its de­ci­sions must be in keep­ing with the over­all pol­i­cy of the Min­istry as it per­tains to the pro­vi­sion of af­ford­able hous­ing units for low to low­er mid­dle-in­come fam­i­lies”.
