Officer succumbs to Covid-19 complications day before returning to work

The T&T Po­lice Ser­vice has ex­tend­ed con­do­lences on the pass­ing of yet an­oth­er po­lice of­fi­cer, #14067 PC Ker­ry Ramkissoon.

Ramkissoon, 45, passed away last week Wednes­day at the San­gre Grande Hos­pi­tal due to com­pli­ca­tions from Covid-19. 

Ac­cord­ing to an of­fi­cial re­lease is­sued by the TTPS, Ramkissoon be­came a mem­ber of the TTPS on Au­gust 11 1997 and ded­i­cat­ed 21 years to the ser­vice be­fore go­ing on leave in 2018. He was due to re­turn to work on Jan­u­ary 27, 2022. 

“He will be fond­ly re­mem­bered and great­ly missed by his col­leagues. Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice (Ag.) Mc Don­ald Ja­cob and the Ex­ec­u­tive of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS) are ex­tend­ing con­do­lences to the fam­i­ly and col­leagues of No. 14067 Po­lice Con­sta­ble Ker­ry Ramkissoon,” the TTPS re­lease stat­ed.
