A 26-year-old man of Orop­une Gar­dens was shot and killed on Wednes­day night.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, Cleave­lan Mendez ar­rived home from work around 7 pm and lat­er went out­side.

Around 8:30pm, sev­er­al loud ex­plo­sions were heard.  Mendez was found ly­ing in the car park of Build­ing 7A.

Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands when po­lice of­fi­cers ar­rived at the scene, they found Mendez ly­ing on his back with sev­er­al gun­shot wounds about his body.  He was still alive and his fa­ther was with him.

Mendez was tak­en to hos­pi­tal where he died.
