Due to the Di­vali Hol­i­day last week­end, the Un­der-19 Scalex­tric For­mu­la Cham­pi­onships will have its quar­ter-fi­nals, semi­fi­nals and fi­nals run off at the Gulf City Shop­ping Com­plex, La Ro­main on Sat­ur­day, start­ing at 1 pm. Spon­sors for the cham­pi­onships will in­clud­ed Unilever, Green Sands and Nes­tle Kit Kat.

All dri­vers must reg­is­ter by 1 pm, as four of the fi­nals will be taped for tele­vi­sion. Ham­pers will be pre­sent­ed to all fi­nal­ists in each age group. The first two in each age group will rep­re­sent T&T in Guyana in Ju­ly 2010, with the top two dri­vers in the 5-14 age groups and the 15-85 age groups go­ing to the Caribbean Cham­pi­onships in Bar­ba­dos in Au­gust, 2010, spon­sored by Nes­tle Caribbean.
