The Police Complaints Authority (PCA) says it has found no evidence of misconduct on the part of any police officer during the raid of several homes in Gulf View on May 3rd.

It has also begun an investigation into the search of the home of former attorney general Anand Ramlogan's housekeeper.

The PCA said in a statement on Thursday that "a preliminary investigation pursuant to Section 30 of the PCA Act Chapter 15:05, has been completed and there have been no findings of misconduct on the part of any police officer".

It said that the information gathered during this preliminary investigation is strictly confidential.

With regard to the search on the premises of Goomatie and Troy Ragbir at Sir Lamont Avenue, Phillipine on May 7th, the PCA said that an investigation has been initiated pursuant to Section 26 of the PCA Act Chapter 15:05, into the conduct of police officers during an alleged exercise at the premises of Goomatie Ragbir.

That matter is also being probed by Police Commissioner Gary Griffith.
