Four female pharmacy workers were left traumatised after gunmen stormed their workplace in Barrackpore on Wednesday.
Surveillance footage from Tara’s Pharmacy along the Rochard Douglas Road, #2 Scale, showed the woman making a dash for cover when two gunmen entered the building shortly after 2 pm and announced a robbery.
One of the men wore a pink fisherman’s cap, a grey T-Shirt and a pair of blue three-quarter pants. The other wore a white cap, black T-shirt and a pair of long black pants. They both had bandanas covering their faces.
As the women cowered on the floor, the men searched them and stole cash, jewellery and other items. They also ordered one of the workers to hand over cash from the sales and put a blue shopping bag before running off.
Barrackpore police responded and launched a search for the men, but up to Thursrday, no one was found.
