Homi­cide in­ves­ti­ga­tors have not yet con­firmed where two sev­ered arms that were found in Mau­si­ca last week came from.

Last Thurs­day, Ari­ma po­lice were called to the cor­ner of the Churchill-Roo­sevelt High­way and Mau­si­ca Road, South, where two sev­ered hu­man arms were found.

Po­lice said the homi­cide de­tec­tives were work­ing with of­fi­cers of the South­ern Di­vi­sion and the An­ti-Kid­nap­ping Unit to try and iden­ti­fy who the sev­ered limbs be­longed to.

Sources said a man who was in cus­tody for an un­re­lat­ed of­fence may be able to as­sist with trac­ing the ori­gin of the body parts.

One source said in­ves­ti­ga­tors were hop­ing to fol­low cer­tain chan­nels to un­der­stand where the sev­ered arms came from.
