To­ba­go po­lice have re­cov­ered an­oth­er il­le­gal firearm fol­low­ing a shoot­ing in Cour­land, Black Rock, yes­ter­day.

Se­nior Su­per­in­ten­dent Earl Elie told Guardian Me­dia that a man from Arnos Vale Road, Ply­mouth, was at work when a gun­man dressed in black ap­proached and fired at him be­fore es­cap­ing through near­by bush­es.

Of­fi­cers lat­er in­ter­cept­ed a sil­ver Nis­san Note in the Black Rock area and ar­rest­ed a man match­ing the shoot­er’s de­scrip­tion. Po­lice seized a Glock pis­tol from the ve­hi­cle.

They al­so searched the sus­pect’s home in Ply­mouth, where they found sev­er­al rounds of 9mm am­mu­ni­tion.

The sus­pect re­mains in cus­tody at the Shir­van Road Po­lice Sta­tion and is ex­pect­ed to be charged soon.
