An electrician was fined $15,000 for attempting to fraudulently cash Government bonds issued to a doctor. Ram Bhimul, 48, a father of three, of San Francique Road, Penal, also was placed on a $5,000 bond on each of two offences of uttering forged identification.

It has been three days and Coast Guard officers are yet to find the body of Tricia Gobindass who disappeared while swimming at Mayaro beach on Monday. Police said divers and patrol teams resumed the search yesterday but were unable to find the body.
