?Minister of Trade and Industry Stephen Cadiz pledged, yesterday, to work with the India-T&T Chamber of Industry and associated groups.
Speaking during a breakfast meeting at Royal Hotel in San Fernando, Cadiz said he was dedicated to attending and working along with members of the Chamber. He was greeted by President of the High Commission of India, Malay Mishra, who also welcomed the other new ministers.
Minister of Local Government Chandresh Sharma, Minister of Public Administration Rudrawatee Nan Ramloolam, and Minister of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education Fazal Karim also attended the event. Meanwhile, Cadiz will be guest speaker today during the closing of the Trade Exhibition at the Centre of Excellence.
Cabinet ministers are expected to attend, along with trade unionist David Abdulah, who is due to take on the role of Deputy Senate President.
