?Min­is­ter of Trade and In­dus­try Stephen Cadiz pledged, yes­ter­day, to work with the In­dia-T&T Cham­ber of In­dus­try and as­so­ci­at­ed groups.

Speak­ing dur­ing a break­fast meet­ing at Roy­al Ho­tel in San Fer­nan­do, Cadiz said he was ded­i­cat­ed to at­tend­ing and work­ing along with mem­bers of the Cham­ber. He was greet­ed by Pres­i­dent of the High Com­mis­sion of In­dia, Malay Mishra, who al­so wel­comed the oth­er new min­is­ters.

Min­is­ter of Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment Chan­dresh Shar­ma, Min­is­ter of Pub­lic Ad­min­is­tra­tion Rudrawa­tee Nan Ram­loolam, and Min­is­ter of Sci­ence, Tech­nol­o­gy and Ter­tiary Ed­u­ca­tion Fazal Karim al­so at­tend­ed the event. Mean­while, Cadiz will be guest speak­er to­day dur­ing the clos­ing of the Trade Ex­hi­bi­tion at the Cen­tre of Ex­cel­lence.

Cab­i­net min­is­ters are ex­pect­ed to at­tend, along with trade union­ist David Ab­du­lah, who is due to take on the role of Deputy Sen­ate Pres­i­dent.
