President Christine Kangaloo and her husband, First Gentleman Kerwyn Garcia, SC, continued their school tour programme as they visited four schools in the St Patrick Education District yesterday.
A release from the Communications Unit of the Office of the President said their Excellencies visited the Santa Flora Anglican Primary, Palo Seco Open Bible Kindergarten, Palo Seco Secondary and Santa Flora Government Primary, where they chatted one-on-one with many of the youngsters at each school, asking about their experiences and also informing the students about the roles and responsibilities of the President.
The release said at their first stop, Santa Flora Anglican Primary, also known as St Cyprian’s Anglican, the President and First Gentleman witnessed the end of a 3K road race in which students from area schools competed. They then presented the top three finishers with their trophies.
This visit to schools is the third such undertaken by the President and the First Gentleman. In January, they visited schools in Matelot and Grande Riviere while in March they met with pupils and students at schools in Preysal.
