A second man has been charged in connection with a quadruple murder which occurred in May 2020, in Princes Town.
AKEEM MITCHELL, aka ‘Yellows’, of St. Croix Road, Princes Town, was charged with the offences by Insp. (Ag.) Glenn Persad of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region 3, on Wednesday 16th September 2020, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on that same date.
Official police reports say the 27-year-old man is expected to appear virtually before a Princes Town Magistrate today, to answer to the charges.
The bodies of Jose Gregoria Serrano Espejo, Aaron George, Guimar Jose Rausseo Marcano and Danill Mitchell, were discovered on Monday 25th May 2020, at Daly Road, New Grant, Princes Town.
They all had been shot in their heads.
The suspect was arrested by investigators on Friday 11th September 2020, in connection with the murders.
On 15th July 2020, the accused’s younger brother, Anthony Mitchell (aka ‘Pookie’), of Malgretoute Road, Princes Town, also was charged in connection with the same murders.
He was held by officers on Saturday 11th July 2020 and appeared before a Princes Town Magistrate on July 16th, 2020.
