Six men who were recaptured after last Wednesday's prison break from the Golden Grove Prison have returned to court.
In addition to the charges they already face, which range from robbery to murder, the men will likely be charged with escaping lawful custody.
The six were taken to the Arima Magistrate's court between 10 a.m and 11 a.m on Monday 20 May, 2019 in batches of two.
Up until 1pm, the escapees and their attorneys were still before a magistrate answering the charges.
There was a high police presence outside the court this morning, with officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force providing additional security.
Two escapees remain at large; Olatunji Denbow and Michael Finley.
