Parts of South-West Trinidad served by the Thicke Village Booster Station currently experiencing an interruption in their supply can expect some relief by tonight.
An advisory from the Water and Sewerage Authority explains emergency repairs currently are ongoing at the Station, to correct electrical problems at the facility.
WASA says those repairs are scheduled to be completed by 6:00 pm today, Friday 28 October 2022.
Affected areas include:
Quarry Settlement, Quarry Road, Belton Trace Along SS Erin Erin Road from Siparia Market to Corner Fyzabad Field Trace, Santa Flora, Bacanno Hill, Sudama Village, Fyzabad - from Mulchan Trace along Guapo Road to Fyzabad Junction, Katwaroo Trace, Patiram Trace, Ragoonanan Trace, Batchyia Trace, Azim Ave, Ramjohn Trace, 1 Mile Mark Rock Road, La Costena, Dil Mohammed, Debedial Road, Boodoo Development
Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take up to 48 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
WASA says a limited truck-borne service will be available upon request, by using the following self-service options: the mobile WASA Services App which can be downloaded for Android mobile customers from the Play Store or iPhone mobile customers from the Apple store; the Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website, www.wasa.gov.tt
