The cenotaph at Memorial Square has been handed over the Defence Force, following a project to restore it to its original colour.
The handing-over ceremony took place this morning at the square.

The world recognises Armistice Day (Memorial Day in T&T) on Sunday.
It commemorates the lives of those who lost their lives in both World War I and World War II.
Sunday also marks exactly 100 years since the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I, on November 11, 1918.
