A retired police officer and his wife were found dead by police at their Cunupia home this morning.
Guardian Media understands officers who found the couple's Tuscon vehicle in the Central Division on Monday, went to their Upper Welcome, Ragoonanan Road, Cunupia home to make enquiries.
The officers got no response to their calls at the couple's gate and on checking, found the bodies of Kenneth Mackhan, 62 and his wife, Lilawatie, 65.
Relatives, who were hesitant to speak, said the couple was last seen alive on Wednesday, May 13.
Southern Division Homicide officers are investigating.
So far, police say there is no motive for the killings.
