Robbery suspect killed in Valencia

One of the sus­pects ar­rest­ed in the killing of a se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cer was killed in Va­len­cia on Fri­day. The dead man has been iden­ti­fied as Jos­sim Ass­ing of Palm Dri­ve in Va­len­cia.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 11. 32 am Ass­ing, of Palm Dri­ve, Va­len­cia, was fa­tal­ly shot by a masked gun­man while talk­ing to a friend at San Pablo Ex­ten­sion. Ass­ing po­lice said was shot mul­ti­ple times. The gun­man sub­se­quent­ly es­caped. Ass­ing died on the scene.

Ass­ing, po­lice said, was linked to sev­er­al rob­beries and was a sus­pect in the mur­der of se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cer Kim­raj Jages­sar in Oc­to­ber 2022.

Ass­ing was among sev­en peo­ple de­tained for Jagge­sar’s mur­der but was not charged.
Jagge­sar, on Oc­to­ber 28, was out­side a mi­ni-mart on the Va­len­cia Old Road when there was a rob­bery. He was sub­se­quent­ly killed.
