A coordinated, strategic and collaborative exercise involving officers of the Command Centres, Southern Division Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and Port of Spain Task Force, resulted in the arrest of three men who were allegedly involved in an armed robbery in La Romaine.
According to this press release, the three male occupants, all of Laventille were taken to Besson Street Police Station.

The search continues for a fourth suspect, after a coordinated, strategic and collaborative exercise involving officers of the Command Centres, Southern Division Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and Port of Spain Task Force, resulted in the speedy capture of three men, who were allegedly involved in an armed robbery in La Romaine.
Around 3 pm yesterday, Wednesday 2nd November, South Operation Command Centre broadcasted a report of a robbery at Sunset Cove, La Romaine.
Southern Division Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Operations, gave further details as officers were made aware that that four male occupants of a silver Aqua motor vehicle were allegedly involved in the incident. The report also stated that all four men were armed with firearms.
As a result, Ag. Cpl Jaikran at the Command Centre South /Central alerted officers of the Port-of-Spain Task Force (POSTF) to pay attention to the Beetham Highway, Port-of-Spain.
Shortly after, while conducting mobile patrols, officers of the POSTF observed the said silver Aqua vehicle and a chase ensued. The officers subsequently intercepted the vehicle at the traffic lights at John John, Laventille.
Three male occupants, ages 41, 26 and 19, all of Laventille were arrested and taken to Besson Street Police Station. When officers searched the vehicle, they found several of the items which were reported stolen.
Investigations are continuing.
