The National Commission for Self Help Limited (NCSHL) will assist thirty-five families and two communities of Southern Trinidad to do structural repair work to their homes.
According to this press release, the funds will be allocated through the Emergency Repairs Reconstruction Assistance Grant (ERRAGs), Development Programmes (DPs) and Minor Repairs Reconstruction Grant (MRRGs) which are managed by the NCSHL, an agency of the Ministry of Sport and Community Development.

Thirty-Five families and two communities of Southern Trinidad will receive an estimated Six Hundred and Ninety-Eight Thousand dollars ($698,000.00) in funding from The National Commission for Self Help Limited (NCSHL) to do structural repair work to their homes. These funds will be allocated through the Emergency Repairs Reconstruction Assistance Grant (ERRAGs), Development Programmes (DPs) and Minor Repairs Reconstruction Grant (MRRGs) which are managed by the NCSHL, an agency of the Ministry of Sport and Community Development.
The Honourable Shamfa Cudjoe, Minister of Sport and Community Development is scheduled to deliver the feature address.
His Worship the Mayor of San-Fernando Alderman Junia Regrello will also be in attendance. The grant distribution ceremony is carded to take place on Thursday 30th June, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at San Fernando City Hall, Harris Promenade, San Fernando. A projected cost of Six Hundred and Ninety-Eight Thousand dollars ($698,000.00) for construction materials will be used to effect structural repairs to their homes.
This is part of the NCSHL’s initiative to provide a measure of support to the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.
