Parts of Central Trinidad will be without a pipe-borne water supply until tonight, as emergency repairs are carried out on a transmission pipeline in the Carolina area.

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of the Central Trinidad that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply, on Thursday 2nd April 2020, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
This has become necessary in order to carry out emergency repairs to a ruptured 16 inch diameter transmission pipeline, located at LP 104 Milton Village, Carolina.
Areas affected include:
- Windsor Park
- Carolina
- Balmain
- Milton
Customers are further advised that it may take up to 12 hours for the water supply to normalize to some affected areas. For further information or assistance, customers can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
